As we approach the 2026-27 NFL Season, players are looking to add to their career totals. As a casual fan, here’s a quick look at the three players who will climb the most spots on all-time leaderboards this season.

1. Derrick Henry

Derrick Henry, Ravens running back, is entering his 11th year in the NFL. In just 10 years, he’s built career totals worthy of the Hall of Fame. Henry’s the active leader in rushing attempts, yards, and touchdowns. Here’s where he stands on the all-time leaderboards:

• 4th All-Time in Rushing Touchdowns (122)
• 10th All-Time in Rushing Yards (13,018)
• 21st All-Time in Rushing Attempts (2,662)

Henry has made a name for himself as an NFL running back, but there’s even more room to grow this year. He just needs two touchdowns to pass Marcus Allen for third in all-time touchdowns. He is 1,083 rushing yards away from sixth place in all-time rushing yards. His 17-game average sits at 1,446 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns. So barring an injury, Derrick Henry will move to 3rd and 6th on two of the most important all-time rushing lists. Truly a generational talent that we’re witnessing live.

2. Jared Goff

It’s not discussed a lot, but Jared Goff is going to pass 40,000 yards this year, and he’s only been playing for 10 years. For context, that’s a 17-game average of 4,461 yards. Despite not having a Super Bowl ring, or MVP year, he’s building an impressive career in Detroit. Goff sits at:

• 25th all-time in passing touchdowns (256)
• 24th all-time in passing completions (3,440)
• 27th all-time in passing yards (39,622)

Which leaderboard is Goff going to climb the most in 2026? If he hits his 17-game average and plays all 17 games, he’ll move from 27th all-time, all the way up to 21st. He could finish his 11th season just 600 yards behind 20-th place Drew Bledsoe. Goff’s another Hall of Fame candidate, as if he plays 5 more years he could become the eleventh quarterback to pass 60,000 career passing yards. So Lions fans stay tuned.

3. Mike Evans

As many NFL fans know, Mike Evans had at least 1,000 receiving yards in the first 11 years of his career, all of which were spent with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Last year he only had 368, as it’s clear his age is getting to him. However, if he can put together one last 1,000 yard campaign, he’ll shoot up the career leaderboards. Evans is currently:

• 10th all-time in receiving touchdowns (108)
• 21st all-time in receiving yards (13,052)
• 31st all-time in receptions (866)

Evans is on the injury-riden 49ers, where he’s currently listed as WR1. Being the primary target, and working with a better offense, Evans can put together one last 1,000+ yard season. How far would 1,000 yards take him? All the way up into 12th, and he needs just 1,287 receiving yards to crack the top 10! Evans has been one of the best receivers in the league for years, and many NFL fans will be excited to see how far he climbs up the leaderboards.
