About Casual NFL Fan
Casual NFL Fan started in August 2025 as a “dumb” challenge, trying to get all 32 NFL teams to comment. Although three teams have commented so far (shout-out to the Commanders, Bengals, and Saints), the focus of the page has since shifted. Since April 2026, I’ve been putting out quality NFL discussion posts every day, trying to spark conversations and discuss facts that a lot of people aren’t talking about. I don’t chase headlines, I chase the stories that casual fans will love, and that’s why the name Casual NFL Fan has stuck. Any fan can join my community, and I hope that if you’re reading this you are already a part of it. Thanks for taking the time to learn more about the mission of Casual NFL Fan, you can read more below!!!
Helping Content Creators Grow
Sharing My Story
I’ve learned a lot about content creating by doing it by myself for over a year. Before this page, I had a couple meme pages and even tried YouTube Shorts for a bit. I’m planning to make commentary videos this year on top of my regular posts. All of the resources I build are full of real-life experience that I’ve gained by doing this. No detached, impersonal articles like you’ll get at Instagram support and with impersonal brands. I’m sharing my story with you guys, for free (for now), exactly how it happened.
Helping You Start
My goal isn’t to brag about all the things I’ve been able to accomplish, which isn’t much. My goal is to help you start the page that you’ve always wanted to run. Content creation is hard, but having the right information can make it easier. My resources will help you start off on the right foot, with the right direction, and using the right tools. From your daily schedule, brand standards, post templates, and copy writing, I (hopefully) have an article that will help you get going today on your page.
Growing Our Brands
Not everyone goes viral, the best creators use slow growth to improve and build communities. I currently have 11.4K followers, and I’m gradually building a positive community as the NFL season approaches. Now is the time to start, so let’s grow together. While I don’t offer coaching (yet), feel free to email me at casual.nfl.fan@gmail.com, or DM me on Instagram. It’s never too late to start growing, so why not start now? Let’s grow together, and build connections both personally and in our communities.
Making Good NFL Content
Expanding Topics
Every day I post on Instagram, usually targeting under-discussed NFL stories and players who don’t usually get attention. When I find a really interesting story, I’ll write a longer article and post it eventually. I’m also working on a weekly Newsletter that will include my latest stories, power rankings, and weekly predictions! So make sure you go follow me on Instagram so you hear every story I have to share, and check back in regularly to see the new stories that I’m posting!
Power Rankings
Over the NFL season, I’ll be posting power rankings as the storylines develop and good teams emerge. All of the power rankings can be found here, and you can navigate to the latest week! Each time I release power rankings, I’ll accompany it with an article explaining why I chose the Top 10 teams. Each power ranking has short summaries of the team’s record, previous rankings, and why I ranked them where I did. I make the rankings personally, guided in part by other power rankings being released, and also in part by my own intuition.
Weekly Predictions
I’m challenging my followers on Instagram to see if they can predict the NFL better than I can. Every week, I’m picking the result of four matchups, and the fans pick the result of one. And if they get the score exactly right, they get another “win”. Whoever has the best win-loss percentage at the end of the season is the winner! I’m working on a prize for you guys if you win. A weekly article explaining my picks will be posted, and I’ll have a page live where people can track the status of the predictions challenge!
